Hyderabad: The overall crime rate in Cyberabad will drop by 12% by 2022.
The total number of registered cases was 27,322, compared to 30,954 in the previous year.
Property crimes decreased by 28%, while the detection rate of property crimes increased by 14.6%. Crimes against women decreased significantly by 8.34%. Road accidents have decreased by about 19%.
However, cybercrime cases increased by 25%.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner Stephen Raveendra said the state government and Cyberabad Police are working hard to maintain law and order and ensure peace. Crime rate has dropped due to police efforts and proper strategies.He said the drop in crime was the highest it had been in a decade
