Starting April 27, the Hyderabad Regional Passport Office will be releasing 500 additional appointments per day for two weeks.

Hyderabad: Regional Passport Office (RPO) Hyderabad will issue 500 additional appointments per day for two weeks starting Thursday, April 27 to accommodate high demand and reduce long waits, Regional Passport Officer and Head of MEA, Hyderabad Division Secretariat Dasari Balaiah said on Tuesday.
Appointments for April 27 will therefore be published on the passportseva website from the evening of Tuesday (April 25).
As Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti suspended operations of 5 Passport Seva Kendras (PSK) and 14 Passport Office Seva Kendras (POSK) on 14th April, it has also been decided to issue 500 additional appointments per day from 27th April for two weeks and These applicants are advised to reschedule their appointments to the next available date.
Passport officers also advise registered and already registered applicants to use this facility via (www.passportindia.gov.in) or via mPassportseva mobile application and attend their respective PSK/POPSK, their slots are booked.
All applicants are hereby informed that prior appointment is mandatory and that PSK and POPSK will not accept any appointment request. The senior passport officer also urged applicants not to seek passports and passport-related requirements from middlemen/touts/brokers and to use special measures.
