Minister of Agriculture Singireddy Niranjan Reddy cuts the cake to share the celebratory atmosphere with the farmers

Hyderabad: On Wednesday, as the state government’s flagship Rythu Bandhu program celebrated five years of successful assistance to Telangana farmers, Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy shared the celebratory mood with farmers by cutting a cake among beneficiaries at the BRS Athmeeya Sammelanam Pebber in Wanaparthy constituency.
On behalf of the state’s farmers, Niranjan Reddy thanked the Chief Minister for completing the fifth year of the new scheme, which has been well received by numerous organizations around the world.
Finance and Health Minister Harish Rao said Rythu Bandu marks the beginning of a new era for farmers, and he welcomed the agricultural policies being implemented by the state Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. Now, with his national slogan “Ab Ki Baar Kisan Sarkar”, he makes everyone think about his lines, he said.
“Rythu Bandhu is five years old today! Farmers are considered kings today thanks to the schemes being implemented by the Chief Minister. Farming is no longer a curse but a carnival. It is a lucrative profession that they all embrace without hesitation, said Harish Rao. So far, the government pays Rs 10,000 per acre per year and remits over Rs 65,000 crore in 10 installments as a direct benefit to farmers’ accounts. He added that Telangana has become a role model for the country due to its excellent farmer welfare programme.
