Hyderabad: On Monday, the Hyderabad Commissioners’ Task Force (East) arrested two persons, M Naveen of Old Bowenpally and K Sai Ram of Amberpet, for possession of cannabis oil. Police seized 71 grams of cannabis oil worth Rs 25,000 from them.
“Both of them procured oil from some people in Vijayawada and brought it to the city to sell it at a higher price and profit from it. According to information, they were arrested in Nallakunta,” said Teh. Contingent Inspector D Santosh Kumar said.
In another case, the task force captured a Syed Sharfuddin (23) from Katedan and seized 183 grams of charas and 340 grams of ganja from him.
“Sharfuddin, a native of Aurangabad, procured contraband from Mumbai and planned to sell it to customers in the city. It is understood that he was arrested at Mailardevpally,” the inspector said. A case has been registered.
