Hyderabad: According to a survey by IP-driven incubation lab BridgeLabz, more than 77.78% of engineering graduates who have taken additional online certification courses feel that it will help them find a stable job more effectively.
The firm recently conducted an online survey of more than 1,000 engineering graduates titled the “Engineer Preference Index.” Out of the total sample size, nearly 54.94% of engineering graduates expressed their willingness to choose online certification courses. Among engineering graduates, 49.38% believe that taking online courses is related to improving their skills.
The survey report highlighted that more than 48.12% of engineering graduates want to choose online certification courses after graduation as it may help them improve their skills, while 77.78% of students believe that taking online courses will provide them with job security, while 80.62% of people believe that online courses have helped improve their employability quotient.
Narayan Mahadevan, Founder of Bridgelabz, said: “The online space offers many options for students and when they look to improve their skills, it becomes important to choose the right course to upskill and reskill.”
