There are a total of 7,015 CCTV cameras in 499 Grama Panchayats and five municipalities in the district.

Sidi Pete: Siddipet Police formed a Public Safety Society (SPS) on Monday to maintain and repair the CCTV cameras installed in the area.
Under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Police Commissioner N Swetha said Rs 2.2 lakh had been allocated as initial funding for SPS. As the presence of CCTV cameras has proven to be crucial in solving several cases, the Commissioner said that Sidipet Police has decided to put in place a system to keep every CCTV camera operational 24/7.
Even if they encounter any technical obstacles, SPS will call in technicians to solve them immediately.
