Nalgonda: Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy said on Thursday that Bharath Rashtra Samithi will change the direction of the country in terms of development and people’s well-being.
Around 300 Congress and BJP youths joined BRS in Suryapet in the presence of the energy minister at his camp office.
In his speech, he said that people from all walks of life, especially farmers and youth, opposed the policies of the Narendra Modi government. The BJP, which had promised to fill 20 million jobs during elections, has failed to do so over the past eight years.
The Modi government has also privatized some public sectors, leaving hundreds of thousands of youth jobless. He accused the BJP government of plotting to privatize BSNL, the postal service and the railway sector.
The BRS will emerge as an alternative to Congress and the BJP in the centre. He said the people of the country were looking for the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
