Hyderabad: Thick fog blanketed the outskirts of Hyderabad on Thursday, with visibility remaining low in the early hours. At Shamshabad and Begumpet airports and in general, a thin layer of mist hangs over the sky until around 10 am.
The India Meteorological Department – Hyderabad said more foggy mornings are expected in the coming days. In addition, there may be a strong cold wave in the next five days, and the minimum temperature will drop below 15 degrees Celsius in most areas.
The people of Hyderabadi, who have been struggling with the scorching heat in the mornings for the past few days, may breathe a sigh of relief, with maximum temperatures also expected to hover around 27 degrees Celsius.
It was a warm night in the city on Thursday with a temperature of 19.9C, a five-degree deviation from normal. The maximum temperature also fell to 28.8C on Thursday from 29.3C on Wednesday.
