Hyderabad: Thousands of pilgrims have visited since the Holy Trinity Church (shrine to the Infant Jesus) was completed in Begumpet’s Chicoti Gardens in 1979.
Devotion to the Child Jesus increases year by year as believers from all walks of life benefit in their personal lives and continue to receive abundant graces, favors and blessings from the miraculous Child Jesus.
Holy Child Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of January every year. This year, Holy Child Novena also begins with High Mass celebrated by various priests. On December 30, 2022, the first day of the Novena, the banner of the Infant Jesus was hoisted by priests. After VK Swamy, many took part in a procession around the church campus, which included a statue of the Child Jesus.
The nine-day Novena festival culminates on January 9, 2023 with a feast of feasting. This year Rev. Fr. Doosi Ravi SJ, will be celebrating 10am Mass.
The meeting on Sunday, January 8th will include Fr. Mass in English at 6 am. Gnana Prakash Ch. (parish priest) and Fr. Janardhan L (Assistant Vicar), Mass in Telugu, Tamil and Mass in Solemnity at 10 am.
Mass in English at 6 p.m., flag lowering and procession and a statue of the Infant Jesus at nearby Chikoti Gardens and Allamthota Bavi, concluding with a blessing on the church grounds.
