Hyderabad: Ilayathalapathy Vijay and successful director Vamshi Paidipally’s highly anticipated film ‘Vaarasudu’ (‘Varisu’ in Tamil) will be released as a Sankranti special edition. The film stars National Crush Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay from renowned producers Dil Raju, Sirish, Param V Potluri and Pearl V Potluri under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations and PVP Cinema.
Producer Dil Raju held a press conference on Monday to announce the release date of “Vaarasudu”. On this occasion, he said, “‘Vaarasudu’ will be released in Telugu on January 14 as a Sankranti special edition. and 13th, we delayed the release of the movie – we thought we should give priority to movies with our big Telugu stars so that both movies would have a wide release. They should have theaters everywhere. If I I have no qualms about delaying the release of my film. I have said from the beginning that ‘Vaarasudu’ is not a competition for Sankranti films. The industry giants are very happy with my decision. I have always believed that everyone should prosper.”
He further added that “Varisu”, which will be released in Tamil on January 11, will be a hit there. If a movie succeeds somewhere, audiences are always ready to support it, he said, adding that movies like “Kantara” and “Love Today” are proof of that.
“‘Vaarasudu’ is a film that all family audiences will enjoy, like our previous films such as ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’, ‘F2’ and ‘Shatamanam Bhavathi’. You will have the feeling that you are watching a good film Feeling. It’s a Dil Raju Mark movie. Thaman’s music became a super hit,” said the ace producer.
Actor Srikanth said, “‘Vaarasudu’ is a universal film. The family sentiment will relate to everyone. Hats off to Dil Raju – no producer would have dared to make such a decision, but he did, respect and value our Thai Lugu star. “Vaarasudu” is my first Tamil film. Also, this is my first film with Dil Raju and Vamshi Paidipally. I am really happy to work with Vijay. Me and Vijay already have Haven’t played a good family entertainer in a long time. This movie will shine in Telugu and Tamil.”
