Hyderabad: The Telangana State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TS RERA) advises the public/potential purchasers/customers not to purchase projects developed by Square Yard Factory who have been advertising, marketing and selling units under the name ‘Golden Palms Enclave’ located at Chevella, ‘Green Square ‘, ‘Prime Avenue’ in Kistapur, ‘Majestic Villas’ in Rakamcharla and ‘Star Colony’ in Rakamcharla without any necessary approval from the relevant authorities (GHMC/HMDA/DTCP/TSRERA).
This contravenes Sections 3(1) and 4(1) of the RERA (Regulation and Development) Act 2016, TS RERA said in a press release, adding that under these terms, “no promoter shall be permitted to advertise, Market, book, sell or offer for sale, or invite others to buy in any way, any plot, apartment or building in any real estate project or part thereof in any planning area without registering that real estate project with the real estate regulation established under this Act Bureau”.
For this reason, TS RERA cautions the public not to buy units in such unregistered projects and advises to inquire and review the RERA website before purchasing a plot/apartment/villa/shop. Details of TS RERA registration programs can be found at the website https://rerait.telangana.gov.in/SearchList/Search.
