Hyderabad: The Ministry of Railways has clarified that the recruitment notice for Railway Protection Force (RPF) constables circulating on various social media platforms is fake. The fake recruitment notices involved 19,800 police vacancies.
A fictional story has been circulating on social media and in the press about the Rail Protection Corps hiring for 19,800 constable positions. “It is hereby notified that RPF or the Ministry of Railways has not issued such a notice on its official website or through any print or electronic media. Reiterating that the news is false and should be disregarded by all,” the ministry said in a statement.
The official website of the Railway Recruitment Board states, “For any notice or information from the Railway Recruitment Board, candidates should only visit the official website of the RRB”.
Rail officials are urging candidates to be aware of touts and racketeers trying to deceive through influence or using unfair means with false promises of jobs on the rail.
