In tragic incident, a widow killed herself after throwing her five-year-old daughter into a Shivvampet tank

The bodies of Padma, Shivani were retrieved from the Shivvampet tank in Sangareddy district on Thursday.
Sangaredy: In a tragic incident, a widow committed suicide after throwing her 5-year-old daughter into a Shivvampet tank on Thursday as the man she was involved with was preparing to marry another woman. The victims were Pallapu Padma (30 years old) and Shivani (5 years old) from Shivvampet village.
According to Pulkal police, Padma married a man from Papannapet about 10 years ago. After his death, Padma and her daughter stayed with Shivvampet’s parents. However, for the past four years, Padma has been in a romantic relationship with her relative, Vallap Malesh. After learning that Malesh was going to marry another woman, Padma begged him to marry her. When Mallesh refuses, a frustrated Padma decides to take her life.
The corpse retried from the tank. Pulkal Police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
