Hyderabad: Tourism Minister V Srinivas Goud unveiled the logo for the 75th anniversary of the Telugu Parliament of Mauritius in August 2022.
In a joint collaboration, the Mauritius Telugu Parliament, the Mauritius Telugu Basa Sangam and the Mauritius Cultural Trust will host a Grand Telangana Formation Day celebration in June 2023 with the Minister of Tourism as the main guest .
Representatives of the aforementioned organizations met the minister here on Saturday. During the meeting, delegates urged ministers to provide mutual support to the Telangana Aboriginal people in Mauritius in the areas of culture, tourism and education.
To this end, the delegates called on the Minister to explore the possibility of signing an agreement between the Telangana government and the people of Telangana settled in Mauritius. The minister responded positively, saying he would discuss the issue with the government.
