New Delhi: Local media reported that a 72-seater passenger plane crashed in Nepal.
A passenger plane carrying 72 people crashed near Nepal’s Pokhara International Airport, the Kathmandu Post reported on Sunday.
The newspaper quoted a Yeti Airlines spokesman as saying the plane was carrying 68 passengers and four crew members. The newspaper reported that a rescue operation was underway. Pictures and videos shared on Twitter showed smoke billowing from the crash site.
