Hyderabad: The harvest festival Sankranti is celebrated every year in southern states with great grandeur. This time, we witnessed people enjoying traditional food, flying kites, playing music, and spending quality time with family and friends throughout the weekend. So did popular Southern stars, as images of their celebrations flooded social media.
Actor Keerthy Suresh looked stunning in a yellow saree in a photo she posted on Instagram. “Pongaloo Pongal and @therouteofficial my family. Happy Sankranthi everyone!! #HappyPongal #Pongal2023 (sic),” she captioned a photo of herself making the Pongal.
Like he does at every festival, “Liger” actor Vijay Deverakonda posted pictures of himself with his family on social media. Everyone is dressed in their best traditional attire and poses in front of traditional rangoli, idols and Pongal. “Happy Sankranti,” he wrote.
