Tirumala: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) has approved a budget of Rs 4,411 crore for 2023-24.
TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy, who made the announcement at a media conference here on Wednesday, said some important decisions were taken at the TTD board meeting on February 15 but details were not made public due to election laws.
He said the online services introduced during COVID will continue and the construction of Srinivasa Sethu will start by the end of April and will be completed to facilitate pilgrims.
Also, additional laddu counters will cost Rs 525 crore, he added.
He disclosed that the Sitarama Kalyanam will be performed in a massive manner at the Vontimitta Temple on April 5 and the Chief Minister will present a silk robe on behalf of the government.
