Hyderabad: Das Ka Dhamki, Vishwak Sen’s latest film, opened in Ugadi in the biggest career opener of the actor’s career. The film grossed 8.8 million on its first day of world premiere. The film’s first-day gross was $39.5 million, halfway to its break-even goal. Das Ka Dhamki has recovered 50% of its target within a day of its release, which is a huge success for Vishwak Sen as the producer of his film. So Vishwak Sen decided to celebrate this success with an audience across the state.
Das Ka Dhamki Success Tour is scheduled to travel to Andhra Pradesh today. Vishwak Sen and his film team will be part of this Das Ka Dhamki journey to massive success. The tour was named “Das Ka Mass Blockbuster Success Tour”. Vishwak Sen will tour Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry and Vizag today.
This successful tour includes festivities at the Durga Temple in Vijayawada followed by a noon show at the Jaya Ram Theatre. Noon performance at the Satyanarayana Theater in Eluru. A matinee performance at the Swamy Theater in Rajahmundry. The evening’s CCL match in Vizag was followed by a second show at the Sarat Theatre.
As box office analysts say, Das Ka Dhamki is expected to enter the profitable zone this weekend. Since the film was 50% restored on day one, it will be a breeze to finish the rest this week. Vishwak Sen once again proved to Das Ka Dhamki that his honest efforts bring a credible risk-reward.
Das Ka Dhamki is a mass-commercial entertainer with some good episodes in the second half. Vishwak Sen does a great job in a dual role, especially in the negative shade. It’s admirable that the actor, in addition to his leading role, can technically pull off a film like this as well as a director and producer.
