Hyderabad: A middle school student was found hanged at his home in Narsingi, Ranga Reddy district, on Friday night. He was suspected of committing suicide because he was afraid of the exam.
According to the police, Sai Teja was studying his first year of MPC at a private college and was living with his family in Manchirevula, Narsingi. He is preparing for the ongoing intermediate exam.
He is suspected to have hanged himself from the ceiling of his room. His family returned in the evening, knocked on the door repeatedly and opened it forcibly, but there was still no response from inside, and found that Settega was dead, which made his family suspicious.
Narsingi Police rushed to the scene and transferred the body to Osmania General Hospital for autopsy.
Police said Sai Teja’s family had raised no suspicions about his death and that he was a good student.
Still, they say, he is competitive, doesn’t get low grades on exams, and doesn’t get angry easily.
Nasingji police are investigating.
