hunt: Nine sheep were killed and several others were injured in an attack by stray dogs in Muthyampet, Mallapur mandal, early Tuesday morning.
Shepherd Rodda Suresh was tending sheep in a cowshed on Monday night, according to villagers. A pack of stray dogs allegedly attacked the flock and killed nine of them.
Local shepherds notified the mandal veterinarian, who visited the village and performed panchnama. The Shepherds community has called on officials to provide Suresh with compensation.
