Junior colleges in Telangana to reopen on June 1, classes start for first and second years

Hyderabad: The state’s junior colleges will reopen on June 1, with first-year and second-year intermediate classes beginning.

According to the Tentative Academic Calendar for the 2023-24 school year released by the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TS BIE) on Saturday, junior colleges will have Dasara holidays from October 19-25 and Sankranti holidays from January 13-16. . A total of 227 possible working days were calculated for secondary education.

* Reopening Junior College: June 1

*1st and 2nd Grade Intermediate Courses: June 1st

*Dasara holiday: October 19-25

* Reopening after Dasara holiday: October 26

* Semi-annual exam: November 20-25

*Sankranti holiday: 13th to 16th January

*Reopening after Sankranti holiday: 17th January

*Final Exam: January 22-29

*2024 IPE Practice Exam: 2nd week of February

* 2024 IPE theory exam: first week of March

*Summer vacation: April 1st to May 31st

* 2024 Advanced Makeup Exam: Last week of May
