Hyderabad: Although singing is not something that everyone can pursue, for some people it is a matter of course. Legendary singer Anuradha Paudwal is one of them. Telangana Today caught up with the singer when she recently visited Hyderabad to perform.
Anuradha Paudwal has been unstoppable since her debut in 1973 with “Abhimaan”. The established singer solidified her status by adding some top hits throughout the ’80s and ’90s, and quickly became a popular diva.

When asked about her use of social media, she replied, “I don’t even know the password to my Facebook account; I’m not a tech-savvy person, my daughter handles everything.” Nurada said: “I don’t judge people, everyone has their own way of singing. In addition to her music career, the singer also founded the “Suryoday Foundation Organization”. Through this organization, she provided cardiac ambulances, more than 250 personalized hearing aids, and a dedicated floor for AIDS patients. “More and more people are struggling financially so I’m just doing what I can and I’m also asking the government to support NGOs to make life better through this,” she added.
