Hyderabad: Raiders of the Lost Ark returns to Cannes for world premiere of Lucasfilm’s Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Bell of Destiny, starring Harrison Ford as the legendary heroic archaeologist, directed by James Mangold ( Ford vs. Ferrari, Logan ), Thursday, May 18.
The highly-anticipated final installment of the beloved franchise – a blockbuster cinematic adventure that has hit the world – will take the competition out of the running. Indiana Jones: The Bell of Destiny will be released in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on June 30.
Mangold said: “In 1995, I was honored to come to Cannes with my first film, which was part of the director’s Fortnite. Twenty-eight years later, I am proud to return with a slightly bigger picture Already. My legendary collaborators and I couldn’t be more excited to share the new and final Raiders of the Lost Ark adventure with you!”
Starring alongside Ford are Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook, Ethan Isidore Al and Mads Mikkelsen. Directed by James Mangold, the film is executive produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Simon Emanuel, with Steven Spielberg and George Lucas serving as executive producers.
John Williams, who has scored every Indy adventure since the original “Raiders of the Lost Ark” in 1981, is at it again.
