Karim Nagar: BJP National President Bandi Sanjay Kumar, who was arrested in connection with the SSC Hindi test paper leak case, was released on bail from Karimnagar Regional Jail on Friday morning.
This came after the Hanamkonda District Court granted him conditional bail on Thursday night.
Speaking to the media outside the prison, Sanjay Kumar claimed that the police had falsely filed a case against him with any evidence and asked the state government to launch an investigation into the leak of the sitting judge’s documents.
He also said he would register the privileged case against the Karimnagar and Warangal police chiefs with the Lok Sabha speaker. He claims police raided his house and illegally arrested him without a warrant.
In response to questions about his refusal to hand over his phone to police, he claimed his phone was in police hands.
