Hyderabad: Aadujeevitham, aka Life of the Goat in English, is the official film adaptation of Benjamin’s 2008 novel Goat Day. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran as a shepherd. According to the novel, the main character, Najib, is a migrant worker who is forced into slavery to herd goats in Saudi Arabia. How Najib escaped from this place is the rest of the novel’s story. Aadujeevitham is being made into a survival drama film with few changes to the novel.
Aadujeevitham is currently in production and post-production. A release date for the film has not yet been announced. A trailer for the film is scheduled to be released on a special date. But unfortunately, it leaked online, so the film’s makers suddenly released the trailer yesterday without any notice.
The Aadujeevitham trailer is technically excellent. Blessy brings the best screen visual experience of desert life. Liberty’s motivations are clearly seen in the trailer.
Prithviraj Sukumaran’s performance as Najeeb has been award-winning. The actor gave his absolute best for this role. His looks, physical transformations, and emotional rendering of his character’s pain are all top-notch. According to the producer, Prithviraj Sukumaran has lost more than 20kg to fit the role.
Aside from Blessy’s brilliant storytelling and Prithviraj’s incredible efforts, Aadujeevitham also boasts a catchy soundtrack by AR Rahman and the amusing voice of Resul Pookutty. Sunil KS and KU Mohanan are the cinematographers of this movie and they bring out the best in their lens.
Aadujeevitham is a collaboration between India and America. Visual Romance Image Makers, KGA Films and Prithviraj Productions are producing the film.
Yes, “release” was unintentional. No, it’s not meant to be “leaked” online.
