Hyderabad: “Ravanasura” is Ravi Teja’s latest box office hit. The movie was released in theaters yesterday.
“Ravanasura” is a crime thriller with a not so solid story. Although the film has a lot of negatives, it can be called a one-time movie for the audience only because of Ravi Teja’s evil performance. Despite mixed reviews from critics and a less-than-impressive public response, the film picked up decent favourites, opening day.
“Ravanasura” raised $9 million worldwide in one day. That’s not a bad box office figure for a film without any blockbusters. This may be due to the holiday effect. Given that it’s the weekend, the film also has some nice pre-orders today and tomorrow.
While “Ravanasura” didn’t impress audiences, some fans of Ravi Teja say their mass maharaja has broken a hat-trick blockbuster with “Ravanasura” in recent months following “Dhamaka” and “Waltair Veerayya” .
‘Ravanasura’ produced by Abhishek Pictures. The film is written by Srikanth Vissa and directed by Sudheer Varma. Harshavardhan Rameshwar and Bheems Ceciroleo composed the music for the film.
This movie has a weak story, not that thrilling and just relies on Ravi Teja’s excellent acting. The producers could have executed better in the screenplay and made it more gripping.
