Hyderabad: On Monday, Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan approved three of her long-pending 10 parliamentary bills.
More than a month ago, the state government filed a petition with the Supreme Court on March 2 seeking to direct the governor to clear the bills. Incidentally, the Supreme Court heard the matter on Monday and scheduled it for another hearing two weeks later.
Soundararajan approved the Telangana Motor Vehicle Tax (Amendment), Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University Professors (Amendment) Bill and Telangana Municipality (Amendment) Bill.
