Hyderabad: Unidentified persons murdered a woman in Pahadishareef on the outskirts of the city on Tuesday night and put her body in a sack for disposal.
According to the police, locals noticed a decomposing body dumped near Hardware Park in Thukkuguda and notified the police.
Police suspect the woman was strangled to death with a towel. The suspect later disposed of the body at a remote location on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
“The woman was killed probably three days ago. The body was highly decomposed. A special team was formed to identify the woman and track down the killer,” said ACP Maheshwaram, C Anjaiah.
A case is booked.
