Adilabad: Collector PS Rahul Raj has asked officials to take steps to make the unveiling of the 125-foot Ambedkar statue a success. Here on Wednesday, he held a review meeting with the administrations of different departments.
Rahul Raj said 15 buses were arranged to transport the participants from the Adilabad district to Hyderabad. Vehicles will depart from Mandalay Center at 6 am. People will be provided with drinking water, food and other basic amenities.
Earlier, the Collector directed rural water supply officials to take steps to prevent a summer drinking water crisis. He told them to finish the remaining work of Mission Bhagiratha and ensure potable water for every family. If anything, he asked them to fix the plumbing leaks.
