Rajanna Sisira: Pointing to 6 million cadres as the strength of Bharat Rashtra Samithi, Industry Minister KT Rama Rao said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will win a third consecutive term even as Prime Minister Narendra Modi continues to indulge in his obfuscated politics in states and Congress.
The minister dismissed opposition allegations of family rule, saying Telangana was a family of 30 million people and the chief minister was the head of the family. “In this case, yes, there is a family rule in Telangana,” he said, reiterating that the family’s love was enough to ensure K Chandrashekhar Rao’s third rise to power.

However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has claimed that development in Telangana has taken a back seat, saying that by listing Telangana’s achievements in different areas, including per capita income from 1.24 lakh in 2014 to 315,000 in 2022.

Urging the audience to reflect on the contrasting situation that prevailed before the formation of Telangana and after the BRS government came to power, the minister pointed out that farmland prices in the state have risen sharply due to provision of water and electricity. He emphasized that there is a sense of confidence among small and marginal farmers as land prices are around Rs 2.5 lakh per acre.
Modi has promised to double farmers’ income by 2022. He said the problem for farmers in other parts of the country must have doubled, not income.
KTR travels down memory lane in Sircilla
BRS Working Chairman KT Rama Rao resonated emotionally with the audience at Atmeeya Sammelanam in Rajanna Sircilla on Wednesday and recalled the love and affection the people of the region had for him.
