Hyderabad: The traffic police issued a warning in light of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s unveiling of the Dr BR Ambedkar statue at Necklace Road Rotary on Friday.
Normal traffic will not be allowed on Necklace and New Secretariat Road between 1pm and 8pm on Friday and will be diverted at various points around Necklace and Tank Bund.
Traffic police urge commuters to avoid VV Statue (Khairatabad) junction, Old Saifabad PS junction, Ravindra Bharath junction, Mint Compound Road, Necklace rotary, Nallagutta junction, Katta Maisamma (Lower Tank Bund), Tank Bund and Liberty junction as they will There is a traffic jam.
RTC buses from Afzalgunj to Secunderabad should avoid Tank Bund Road and take Telugu Thalli flyover, Katta Maisamma, Lower Tank Bund, DBR Mills and Kavadiguda routes instead.
The police appeal to the public to pay attention to the diversion, divert to reach the destination and cooperate.
