Surya pets: Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy dubbed the “Nirudyoga March” a march of the politically unemployed, on Wednesday challenged BJP and Congress leaders to a public debate over the BRS government to fill vacant posts.
Speaking to the media here, Jagadish Reddy said the BRS government has filled 1,32,632 jobs in the state in the past nine years. In the past nine years, no more than 10,000 vacancies have been filled in states ruled by Congress and the BJP government, he said.
He said Congress should have a “nirudyoga march” and a “nirudyoga deeksha” over Narendra Modi’s failure to deliver on his promise to fill 20 million jobs. The center doesn’t even fill 200,000 jobs a year. Noting that Congress acts as the BJP’s B-team in Telangana, the minister said both the BJP and Congress are trying to mislead the unemployed and trying to gain political mileage by stoking their agitation.
The recent leak of exam papers is nothing but a plot by the BJP to tarnish the image of the BRS government. He added that BJP leaders should remember that their evil politics will not work in Telangana.
