BSP State Secretary Yerra Kamesh protests with party members in front of the Martyrs Monument in the RTC bus stand area
Kota Gooden: BSP State Secretary Yerra Kamesh has demanded the resignation of Kothagudem MLA Vanama Venkateshwar Rao, claiming he failed to ensure regular supply of drinking water to residents of Kothagudem town.
He joined party ranks in a protest Wednesday at the Martyrs Memorial in the RTC bus station area holding a placard. He claimed that the town has had serious water problems over the past week, but that the MLA and officials have done nothing to address the problem.
He complained about the indifference of the MLA and the city chairperson to people’s problems. He said that if the water issue is not addressed, every program carried out by the MLA will be thwarted by BSP cadres and women.
