Lucknow: The UP 112 WhatsApp group sent a life-threatening message against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the police said, adding that Sushant Golf City Police Station has registered a case and investigations are ongoing.
In a complaint, the Ombudsman, UP Headquarters Operations Commander Sahendra Kumar, said a message came from a caller saying he “would kill Chief Minister Yogi”.
Police notified senior officials, including the Assistant Director-General for Law and Order and the Assistant Director-General for Intelligence, immediately after receiving the information.

The chief minister’s security officials are trying to identify the caller who sent the threatening message, the source said.
