On Wednesday, BRS Works Chairman and IT Minister KT Rama Rao shared future plans for the party.
Hyderabad: As Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) prepares to celebrate its first founding day after transforming from TRS to BRS, working chairman KT Rama Rao shared the party’s future plans on Wednesday, emphasizing that despite the name change, the party’s DNA, The agenda, party symbols, philosophy and leaders have not changed.
Prospects for BRS in parliamentary elections
BRS will win 90 to 100 seats. Our candidate for Chief Minister is K Chandrashekhar Rao. Congress and the BJP should also announce their candidates for Chief Minister for analysis and decision by the people. Congress will be far behind us and the BJP will lose 100 seats.
BRS Plenary Thursday
It will be a general body meeting with 279 elected representatives. There will be party executive resolutions and political resolutions. Starts at 11am and continues after lunch.
Next steps after BRS Atmeeya Sammelanams
On May 1st, Labor Day, there will be BRS Karmikha Sammelanams. Beginning in June, Yuvajana Sammelanams will follow. The state government’s achievements in education and employment opportunities will be showcased to young people.
Talk about KTR as CM
Our leaders are not yet 70 years old. US President Biden is 80 years old and he wants to be re-elected. Why are our leaders retiring? He is our identity.
When a chief minister is in office for three consecutive terms, the nation takes notice. He will make an influential appearance in the national political arena, and only time will tell what kind of impact it will have.
Maharashtra’s response to BRS
Maharashtra is a part of the state of Hyderabad, where many ethnic Telugu families live. More importantly, farmers, youth and all sectors are impressed with the Telangana governance model. BRS will campaign for Janata Dal (S) in the Karnataka Assembly elections, followed by campaigns in Andhra Pradesh. Hyderabad will be the epicenter to focus on its neighbours.
Allegations against the Special Investigations Unit
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath formed the SIT over the murder of two criminals in front of the media. How can the Telangana government’s SIT be bad when the UP government’s SIT can be fair and popular? When Modiji was chief minister of Gujarat, he described the CBI as the Congressional Bureau of Investigation. There were 105 test papers leaked during BJP regime in different countries. Not a single minister or official was fired, and no compensation was offered to candidates. Why such a request in Telangana? This is illogical and unreasonable.
Governor delays settlement of bills
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that British colonial practices and names should be abolished. The governor system was also established by the British. One should think about the implications of such a system.
Not just Telangana, Tamil Nadu, New Delhi, Kerala and West Bengal are also in conflict. India is the largest democracy in the world and our nominated offices and people are held to ransom. Should elected public representatives rule or nominees dominate government? Why delay the bill and force the government to go to the Supreme Court? Is this a functional democracy?
The Story of the Visakhapatnam Steel Works
Until the Baladeira mining area is controlled by the Adani Group, whoever bids will eventually be taken over by POSCO or Adani. Second, the Coalition Government has enacted regulations that prohibit PSUs from bidding for other PSUs. With a little effort and a statement, tremors were sent through Andhra Pradesh politics. All parties in the state are in a catch-22 and unable to comment on the Modi government. That is the Kowloon-Canton Railway.
Opposition fails to clarify links between Modi, Adani
Industry Minister KT Rama Rao has pointed out that opposition parties have failed to shed light on the nefarious links between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Adani Group unless the BJP government’s special allocation to Adani affects the lives of ordinary people. Communicate to the people and the spoils will continue.
It is strange that ordinary people have to pay GST on milk and curd, while Adani Group did not have GST when they took over Jaipur airport. How can such a rule be justified? He said they have veto power in the GST committee and they have the final say.
People need to consider GST on milk, curd, medicines but no tax on transfer of assets. While corporate giants are exempt from taxes, ordinary people are burdened with taxes. When free electricity is announced to farmers it is called a revdi or freebie. How about forgiveness of Rs 12 trillion worth of corporate loans?
“Have you seen any reports of corporate owners committing suicide? They just fled abroad,” he said.
