The all-rounder was a key member of the SRH team, breaking through with the bat and contributing usefully to the lower order. Sundar has played seven matches in the ongoing edition, taking three wickets and conceding 146 runs at an economy rate of 8.26. On the other hand, he shot 60 with a high of 24 and an average of 15.
Sundar’s departure is a huge setback for the Sunrisers, who are bottom of the standings with just two wins from their past five games. SRH now have four points and will face relegation contenders Delhi Capitals on Saturday.
