Mumbai: Star Samantha Ruth Prabhu talks about the taboos women face today in a new ad she stars in.
From women getting married on their own terms, to getting off work or acting in movies on their own time – the ad talks about it all.
Samantha captioned it: “Duniya kheechegi neeche but you have to stand up baby!”
The video begins with Samantha as the bride sitting in front of a mandap. However, one of the wedding guests commented on how girls should marry at the right age.
Then I heard Samantha say: “Time pe nahi, marzi se honi chahiye.”
The video cuts to Samantha arriving late from get off work and the night watchman asking, “Kaunsa kaam raat ke 12 baje khatam hota hai.”
To this, Samantha said it doesn’t even end at midnight.
The last part is an action movie, and I heard the co-actor say that he is a “hero” and wants to do “action” in the movie.
Samantha gave an apt reply: “Par is the main hu’s movie hero.”
The ad ends with Samantha saying: “Sab ki sunoge to khud ki kab karoge”.
