Nizamabad police recovered 500 grams of marijuana, four mobile phones and two bicycles from them

Police arrested five ganja vendors in Morthad, Nizamabad district.
Nizamabad: Police arrested five cannabis dealers, including a minor, in Morthad on Friday. Police seized 500 grams of cannabis, four mobile phones and two bicycles from them.
The defendants have been identified as Rakesh, Ravim MD Arshad, Shashi Shankar and a minor.
According to Armoor Assistant Police Commissioner R Prabhakar Rao, the accused bought the marijuana from unidentified persons in Adilabad and sold it to youths at a higher price for profit. Based on tip-offs, SI and his team raided the house where the defendants were smoking marijuana and caught them red-handed, the ACP said.
The ACP added that the accused will appear in court on Friday.
