Hyderabad: Videos of comedian Danish Sait and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) contestant Mohammad Siraj speaking and singing in Dakhni have gone viral on the internet. The segment is from the “RCB Insider Show” hosted by the former.
In a video shared on RCB’s official Instagram page, the Dane referred to the cricketer as “Meri Jaan, Hyderabad Ki Shaan”. The dupe made amusing jokes in Dakhni and Siraj was seen making sentences with words like “Hallu, Potti, Light Le Lo, Chinndi Chor and Kirrak”. He was also asked to sing several Hindi songs in the language.
The video garnered widespread attention on the internet, with many people reposting it on their social media. “Dakini Native Language is a step up,” read the review. “Hail dakhni,” wrote another. “Proud Daheny,” said a third.
Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bengaluru are fifth in the IPL 2023 standings after beating Lucknow Super Giants by 18 points on May 1. Mohammad Siraj snatched a wicket against Lucknow Super Giants and finished second in the Purple Caps with 15 wickets and an economy of 7.35.
