A policeman was injured when militants attacked security forces in J&K’s Anantnag district on Thursday

Srinagar: A policeman was injured when militants attacked security forces in J&K’s Anantnag district on Thursday, police sources said.

Police sources said militants opened fire on a “Naka” (check) security force in the town of Bijbehara in Anantnag.

“A local police officer was slightly injured in the attack. He was transferred to hospital for treatment. The area has been surrounded for search,” said a source.
