The lead accused in Viveka’s murder, Erra Gangi Reddy, will be remanded until June 2 and will be sent to Chanchalguda prison.

Amaravati: Erra Gangi Reddy, the lead accused in the murder of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy, surrendered at the CBI court in Hyderabad on Friday.
He will be remanded in custody until 2 June and will be sent to Chanchalguda Prison. The CBI had earlier observed that the investigation into the murder was hampered as the main accused was not in custody and filed a petition with the Telangana High Court to cancel the bail.
The latter directed to cancel the bail and Gangi Reddy surrendered to the CBI by May 5.
