Mumbai: Mumbai Indians beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by six wickets in an Indian Premier League game on Tuesday.
Chasing 200, MI relied on Suryakumar Yadav’s 35-ball 83, backed by young Nehal Wadhera’s unbeaten 34-ball 52, to chase the target in 16.3 overs.
Earlier, Glenn Maxwell and skipper Faf du Plessis broke a half-century to lead Royal Challengers Bengaluru to 199 in six overs.
RCB were quickly without Virat Kohli and Anuj Rawat before Du Plessis (65 off 41 balls) and Maxwell (68 off 33 balls) combined to stitch together 120 runs from just 67 balls.
In the end, Dinesh Karthik scored 30 for 18 balls.
