Janhvi Kapoor, Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew to star in ‘Ulajh’

Mumbai: Actors Janhvi Kapoor, Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew will be seen sharing screen space in a new thriller called “Ulajh.”

‘Ulajh’ is set in the famous and entertaining world of the Indian Foreign Service (IFS). Sudhanshu Saria has joined to direct the film.

The project follows the journey of a young IFS officer, belonging to a prominent family of patriots, who becomes embroiled in a dangerous personal conspiracy in a career-defining position, far from home. Written by Parveez Shaikh and Sudhanshu Saria, with dialogue by Atika Chohan, this new-age thriller promises to be unlike any other thriller audiences have seen in the genre.

Janhvi is delighted to be a part of Ulajh, saying, “When I received the script for Ulajh, it immediately captivated me because as an actor, I’m always looking for something that would allow me to break out of my comfort zone. This is how the script portrays a character based in the world of the famous Indian diplomatic service. As the name of the film suggests, my character and story, with so many layers, emotions and parameters, is both challenging and exciting I’m excited for audiences to see me in this new role envisioned by Sudhanshu who has such a fresh approach to the genre.
