Singareni Collieries Company Limited Wins Best Geotechnical Award at National Technology Day Event

Hyderabad: Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has won the ‘Global Rainbow’ award for Best Geotechnical Technology at the National Technology Day event in Bhubaneswar on Thursday. Corporate Director (Finance) N Balaram was also awarded Best Director, Excellence in Corporate Governance and Innovation Leadership.
The award was presented by Pradip Kumar Amat, Minister of Environment and Forests of Odisha. Singareni was awarded the “Golden Rainbow” award for his remarkable progress in all areas.
Balaram received the “Best Director of Excellence in Corporate Governance and Innovation Leadership” award in recognition of his service to the environment and forest sectors and his actions to understand and address worker issues through innovative processes such as Grievance Day. Balaram has planted 15,000 saplings in nine districts in Singareni and has won many awards.
