The bear was found at the Srinivasa colony on Sunday morning. The first thing residents see is a building under construction behind the D-Mart, the town’s enclave. Later, it wandered into the house owned by Thandu Srinivas and hid in the bathroom.
After receiving information from locals, police and forest department officials rushed to the scene. They were trying to capture the bear and move it to a safer location when it was last reported.
