Veerender was found to have cooperated with defendants in land disputes and harassed victims, the order said
Warangal: N Veerender, who worked as a Deputy Inspector (SI) at Raghunathpalli Police Station before being posted to Vacancy Reserve, was suspended for harassing victims of agricultural land disputes.
Warangal Police Commissioner AV Ranganath issued an order to this effect on Monday. Veerender was found to have cooperated with the defendant in the land dispute and harassed the victim, the order said. It also said Veerender had not cooperated with authorities in an investigation into the land dispute.
Meanwhile, SI G. Anil Kumar, Atmakur Police, has been reassigned and took up the post of Chief of Police (SHO) of Narmetta Police, while N Nagesh, SI from VR, has been reposted and taken up as Nallabelly Police.
