Tirupati: Crowds at Tirumala temple have increased due to summer holidays and exam results. The queue of believers has extended to the outer ring road, and it will be as long as 4 kilometers when it is full. The Vaikuntam Queue Complexes I and II are packed with devotees and the queue goes all the way to Narayanagiri Gardens.
Devotees without tokens queuing can take more than 30 hours to reach Srivari darshan. TTD officials said peak hours are possible in the coming days.
Devotees faced some inconvenience when it rained heavily for more than an hour in Tirumala on Thursday. Some 79,207 devotees worshiped Srivaru on Wednesday.
TTD executive AV Dharma Reddy and other top temple workers are building the necessary facilities to ensure food, water and other essentials are provided to the queued devotees.
