Hyderabad: The number of devotees at the Tirumala Tirupati Temple (TTD) has increased over the past two weeks as the summer holidays started. On Thursday, the Vaikuntam queuing area and all the stalls in the Narayanagiri Garden Sheds were packed with devotees.
TTD officials stated that believers who have no tokens in line may have to wait for 24 hours to reach the show. They took the necessary precautions to ensure that food and water were provided for devotees in the queue.
Earlier, TTD has taken important decisions regarding VIP Darshan Rest and Arjitha Seva to reduce Darshan time for ordinary pilgrims. The temple also gave out special admission and accommodation tokens worth Rs 300 on May 24.
TTD called on believers to cooperate with officials.
