In his acceptance speech, Hrithik said: “I have lived with Vedha for many years. It started in Abu Dhabi. I did my first shoot here as Vedha… It feels like life is coming back to me Reaching the origin. Vedha helped me unleash the madness inside me that I didn’t know existed. Thank you universe, thank you Vedha for helping me discover that madness and helping me discover the power to control it.” https://twitter .com/ADushtKanya/status/1662577246710759426 “I love you guys… I will never take you guys for granted,” he added.
The film is the official Hindi remake of The Tamil Project, the film of the same name starring R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi.
The story of Vikram Vedha is full of twists and turns as tough cop Vikram (Saif Ali Khan) sets out to track and hunt down the fearsome gangster Vedha (Hrithik Roshan). What unfolds is a cat and mouse chase as master storyteller Vader helps Vikram unravel layers through a series of stories that lead to sobering moral ambiguities.
Pushkar and Gayathri, who directed the original Vikram Vedha, directed the remake.
During his speech, Hrithik also yelled at Pushkar and Gayathri.
Over the next few months, Hrithik will appear in different incarnations in “The Fighter,” starring Deepika Padukone.
He also produced “War 2” with Jr NTR.
