Tirupati: Tirumala devotees will continue to pour in in the coming weeks. As the summer holiday draws to a close, devotees seem eager to do Srivari darshan before school and college start. According to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), pilgrims without tokens may have to wait up to 22 hours to reach Sarvadarshan.
The compartments are packed with numerous devotees.
TTD officials are taking all necessary precautions to ensure that the faithful do not experience any inconvenience. Earlier, officials made major changes to allow more darshan time for ordinary pilgrims. In addition, the official canceled the recommendation letter of the VIP, which can save up to one hour, but the VIP can go directly to the temple when visiting the temple.
TTD released on May 24 special Darshan tickets for July and August at Rs 300 including accommodation quota. The official advised people to book tickets online on the official TTD website and not to be scammed by fake TTD websites.
